God Has A Plan For You 2

I don*t know all of the specifics of His plan for you but I know some of the most important ones. Whoever you are He wants to save you and make you into a new creature like Christ who is committed to doing His will.

1 Timothy 2:1: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

2 Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Romans 8:29: For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Ephesians 6:6: Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

Ephesians 2:10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Many wrongfully believe that they cannot know His will and that somehow for some reason He has not told them. The problem is not on God*s end, it is on ours. The problem that keeps us from knowing His will is ALWAYS a lack of commitment.

Proverbs 16:3: Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

When our works are committed unto ourselves we will know our will but not His.

1 Peter 4:19: Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

Romans 12:1: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

By the way, my frequent lack of commitment to His will is my problem too. When I don*t know the will of God immediately after committing myself to Him, it is because I will know it exactly when I need to know it. Sometimes His will is for me to wait upon Him.
